I've been following and I want to join.  I'm not easily offended by everything if that's a concern.

I've been told that I pass extremely well and I voice pass, so you won't have a fugly ass dude dressed like a woman.

I don't think it would be a problem. I don't think that I'd personally care if you didn't look like a woman as long as you weren't a creep, but to be completely honest it could be a problem with units consisting of older people and other people might make political assumptions about us.

Just show up next weekend. Come in with whatever you already have and you can do an initial impression.

I bought stuff from the list that you posted already so what I have should be good.  I have a lot more then pants and shirt and calling it a uniform.

I should be good.

I'm hoping that you at least bought from the recommended sources and used pictures and didn't do anything like get a postwar greatcoat.

If you want to buy anything before you're told what to get, you should be willing to sidetrack everything as a costume. The main one that gets new members is postwar greatcoats. As far as we're concerned it's obvious.

Correct soles don't matter that much to us but you need to keep your boots upright as much as possible. You can also wear socks and you don't need to wear period correct underwear as long as you keep it concealed at all times.
